Default Vinyl wrap Dash hood.

First and foremost you couldn't pay me enough to do this full time. Hats off to the pros that do this everyday.

If I EVER say I'm going to do anything else in wrap that isn't a nice flat piece someone slap me up the side of my head.

To get the hood off on the GD just got to the analog gauges in a Jazz DIY it's the very last one or first one posted on this site in the DIY section.

For you GE guys you are on your own LOL.

OK back to work today now that the doc said I could put a little weight onto my bad leg.

This is just the hood after being taken out laying on the vinyl wrap CF.

This one is in my dining room work area with it finally covered. The white small spots are just lint but you can see a couple tiny "bubbles" that I couldn't get out to save my life. The cover was squeaky clean because I washed it in my kitchen sink, I tried heat, the old puncher it with a pin, everything I could think of but they are still there.

This is what the dash looks like all apart ready for it to be installed.

FINALLY installed !!! It was very hard to get a photo around the steering wheel. And you can see I cracked my silver cover pulling it off. But easy to get another and it was only a buck or two.

Even harder to get a photo from the outside as with no flash you can't see it and with a flash it bounces off the windshield. the tiny white spots are on the windshield not the cover.

WHEW this was NOT a job for beginners and it will be a long while before I try another LOL. But it still looks pretty good when walking up to the car.
