Just finished the series on Genghis Khan and if you like "Game of Thrones" you will enjoy this one just as much.

There is the same fighting and palace in fighting between family members ad GOT but in a different setting. Can't recommend it highly enough.

It's written by "Colin Iggulden" and he has about a dozen books out about this same story.

Got started on my Christmas books and "Game of thrones" had to wait LOL. Had to read WEB Griffin's "Covert Warriors" first as he is my favorite author. Not bad but less good than the rest of the series.

Starting "Game of thrones" Book three second part tonight.

What a bummer. The first 150 pages of the second book of the third story have covered all the same stuff that has already been on TV. It goes all the way to the red wedding section. That is like 1/3 of the book. If I had known this I would have waited to find a copy on the used book store.

Well that was a GIANT disappointment!!!

The end of "A Storm of Swords" the second part of the third story in the "Game of Thrones" was THE WORST ending of any book I have read in a long time.

Save your money and watch it on TV would be my advice.

I sure hope he is planning more books to get past this rot.

Just finished "The panther" By Nelson DeMille and it is very good. The one before this "The lion" is good also and keeps getting a mention in the Panther which is like a follow on to the Lion.

All of his books are good and I have read them all over the years.
