That is a switch panel. I assume that if you wanted to add interior or exterior electrical accessories, you could buy switches from Honda that would fit in the panel, but don't know for sure. Maybe non-USDM Fits offer accessories that have switches on that panel, or Honda may offer such accessories in the future that will use the panel.

Default Clever Coin Holder

Someone is making these coin holders and selling them on Fit Freak- pretty clever use of useless space

Yep that part is for fit in the other parts of the world that have other switches. Makes sense to make one generic part and if you need it the hole part pops out and you put in only the switches you need so the need for a special switch cover for several different models is eliminated.

On other sites I have found these used for fog lights, coin holders, vehicle stability control and headlight leveling (yes - some markets they can raise or lower the lights depending on the load in the car.) Almost forgot - interior mood lights as well.

One of mine turns the vehicle stability off. The other two are empty.

I know VSA is on the newer cars- but headlight adjustment? where do you live? I now have coin holders in two of mine.
