Default Group Buy on Armrests?

Hello all,

I donít know if this forum ever has any group buys (and sorry I donít check in very often as thankfully I have had no issues with my 2009 Fit Sport).

I am interested, as I am sure a lot of others are, in adding the OEM Honda armrest to my Fit, but the cheapest I can find them is on eBay for around $180 shipped.

I would have to pay the dealer to put it in which I think is around $85 last time I checked so as much as I would like the armrest I really cannot justify over $250 for a nicer armrest than what came with the car.

Can we try to set up some kind of group buy? Not even sure if whatever sources, dealers, etc would have these at a group discount but if I could get one for less than $100 I would go ahead with it. I am posting on a couple of other Fit forums as well....

Thanks
Mike

If you want to try putting it together sure go ahead. BUT I think most everybody that wanted one has gotten one already and there was a GB on the freak net before this.

Default Thanks

Thanks, I guess I should have looked back then. No huge deal it is just too bad they are so expensive, and I am sure it has been said a million times, should have been on the car in the first place....

Because of the cost of the Honda console armrest, I compromised and got the Zeta armrest-I have had it in my car for nearly two years and like it much better than the driver's seat oem one. You can buy from Zeta products at their website or on ebay.
Other sellers on ebay have similar ones for less money, but I do not think they include the kit to cover up the hole made by removing the driver seat armrest.

How sturdy is the Zeta armrest? I don't plan on doing headstands on it, but is there any jiggling or is it stable? How does the color match the interior? Thanks for the feedback.

I have not even screwed mine in and it has been sturdy for me It my not be sturdy enough if you depend on it to hoist yourself out of the car, or have dogs climbing climbing over it. If you follow the link, there are some pictures of how it looks

Thanks for the information. I dislike not having an armrest for the passenger seat; I think the passenger seat should have the flip up arm rest that the driver's seat has but so it goes. It's helpful to talk to someone who uses the product. Thanks again.
