Default 192,000 miles

My 2008 Fit Sport automatic hit 192,000 yesterday. Aside from regular maintenance, I've had the brakes done, and had the shifter cable replaced. The engine light's been on for the past 130,000 miles, which I ignore... still gets 36-38 mpg.

How are your Fits doing?

192K is a lot of miles for a 2008. I have 213K on my 2007. Anyway, have you ever checked to see what is causing your engine light to stay on? Have you ever had the codes read?
I am guessing that you don't live in California...I am averaging 34-38 mpg in my 5AT.

it's an oxygen sensor - $103 plus labor - which would go back on after 60K. Been there, done that (once!) with my last car - a 2000 Outback, which I retired at 357,000.

Welcome to the site. Pardon my slow reply but I'm on vacation.

Good to hear so many big mileage fit stories looks like mine will truly be my last car this lifetime.
