Default The mystery is SOLVED

I have been wondering why the USDM Fit have the problem of punctured A/C condensers and this I my opinion is why.

Look at how much smaller the lower grill opening is on other than USDM Fit/Jazz is compared to a USDM one below.

I went out and measured the opening and it's only 4" from the bottom of the opening to the top edge on my ADM Jazz GD.

Maybe I'm seeing things but the USDM opening looks A LOT bigger in that photo.

Anybody with a USDM want to measure theirs?

The opening on my '09 is 6 3/4 inches; after reading about the condenser punctures I installed a piece of plastic screen intended to keep leaves out of house gutters. So far, so good.

I can't say the same for the fog light lenses.

That is why I was looking at mine I redid the fence in front of my compound and had some plastic fencing left over and was going to install some in that area. But now I'm wondering if I really need it or not. Thanks for the measurement.
