Just an update. I was at the Honda dealership getting the combination headlight switch replaced and while there I asked about the two clips that have square heads. The parts fellow told me their fasteners are sold individually and he quoted 6 bucks each for this particular fastener. Ouch! I said no thanks, plus he would have had to order them and their location is 100 miles from where we live.

I also have to correct myself about the lenses my husband put on our Luv truck some years back. He said they weren't polycorbonate but a cheap butyl something or other plastic, which is why they hazed quickly and yellowed. He said the plexi-glass is supposed to have a heat temp. melting point of 300 C.
Anyway, I just looked at my ebay replacements and they had condensation on the inside of the lens. My husband told me to take a hairdryer to them and put a bead of silicone adhesive round the lens and also check where the bulb is inserted. He mentioned many of these have a thin foam sheathing that crumbles after a while. I have some of that dielectric sealant I could also put at the base of the bulb. Will have to look it over first to see, though.
