Default Decent priced bras or hood protectors?

I've probably looked at about 30 Fits recently. Even the ones with barely any miles on them (under 10k) have chips on the hood it seems. Like rocks? Or very tough bugs?

Then I started browsing at other people's personal fits, and they have chips too on the hood. Comments about usually sound like "my Fit eats rocks" or "rocks love my hood".

Do other enthusiasts or drivers have a nice way to prevent more damage? Or do they simply just get a black bra if it's a problem?

Buying my Fit tomorrow!

There are black tinted plastic deflectors from ZETA products for one that people think are very good. Check out this thread for some photos

Some have tried clear plastic wrap from various companies that is applied to the front of the hood covering back about a foot or so that look good and you have to look REALLY close to see them once they are applied.

And yes most car companies are having chipping paint due to the car manufacturers being FORCED to change to water based paint by the US government.
