See now if he did hit a big ass pothole that still doesn't point the blame to the coilovers. The very same damage may have happend if a stock Fit hit a pothole. Him being lowered may have not helped but it also cant put all the blame on the coilovers ether.

I tend to agree with you on that, and as Claymore eluded to, being lowered on coilovers would have been even less prone to damage than with OEM struts lowered to the same ride height.

Let's say this about that as they say
![]() But if they had less travel and harsher spring rates then they would be a causative factor to the damage. ![]() And if he was riding at stock height then he may have seen the pothole from further away and had more time to take evasive actions ![]() |
