Default New V-60 Volvo falling apart LITERALLY

My neighbor just bought a brand new Volvo V-60 station wagon black with black interior and it's a thing of beauty.

BUT it has openings on either side of the grille on the lower part of the bumper that have a cover like our tow point on the Fit/Jazz.

The problem is they are pretty large about 4" wide x 2" high and they keep popping open and end up hanging down on the bumper on the small "hinge" type retainers.

First it was one side and I thought the guy had opened it for something and forgot to close it then the other side now BOTH are open and hanging down on the bumper guess he gave up on keeping them closed.

Too bad it is a beauty but these things hanging open really ruin the look of the less than a month old new car.
